- Since its inception is 1997, Canwest Trade Shows (Formerly Kahshe Productions) has been providing full service, integrated event management and marketing solutions and we have the skills & resources necessary to ensure that your event is successful, effective & memorable.
- Canwest Trade Shows was founded on the principle of finding business for customers. Our size and history dictates the strength and advantage of our media buying and promotion, along with employing a full time Media Relations person.
- Canwest Trade Shows annually spends almost one third of its Gross Revenue on advertising and promotion. We are geared on generating business for our customers - our success depends on yours!

- From show conception to opening day, all details are handled in house to minimize any possible delays and problems.
- Floor plans, carpet, drapes, tables, staging, ATM’S, computerized exit surveys, trucks, trailers, even in house printing, are just some of the benefits that Canwest brings to each show.
- Canwest Trade Shows has now initiated 8 successful new shows, as well as reinventing our pre-existing show lineup. Our Taboo Shows attract over 100,000 people annually, while our PetExpos experience over 50,000 in attendance.

Key Personnel
- Peter Kiddell, Owner & founder of Canwest Trade Shows has been in the Trade and Consumer Show business since 1975, first being an exhibitor for over 20 years, and now producing Shows for almost 10 years.
- Terra Connors, General Manager and Managing Partner, first started in Trade Show business with Southex (now dmg World Media) almost 15 years ago before joining Canwest in 2001.
- Darryl Rosengreen, Taboo Show Director and Partner, spent many years with the Canadian National Sportsmen’s Shows, where he was instrumental in starting up the Calgary Motorcycle Show before joining Canwest in 2003.
- Virginia Ritchie, has been the Health Show Director since 2005. Since 1987 her vast experience in event planning and promotion include all aspects of Trade Shows in Canada and the US as an exhibitor, marketing strategies, booth design, administrator and event coordination for several industries.
- Beverley Blue, Marketing Manager,
has been in Advertising and Marketing for over 20 years and has a wide-variety of experience in advertising and production, as well as special events and promotions.
- Joe Papa, former Show Director and trade show vetran with over 15 years experience is now the President and Owner of GreenTree Shows. GreenTree has recently purchased the Woodworking & Tool Shows in addition to the Creative Stitches & Crafting Alive Show from Canwest Trade Shows. We look forward to a continuing working relationship as GreenTree grows.
